Sharp Europe has introduced two new high‑speed A3 colour MFPs aimed at organisations producing large volumes of professional‑quality documents internally.
The BP 80C70 and BP 80C80 are designed for busy, high‑throughput environments, delivering up to 70ppm colour / 76ppm mono on the BP 80C70 and up to 80ppm colour / 81ppm mono on the BP 80C80. Sharp says the models maintain consistent speeds on heavier media up to 220gsm, helping teams create higher‑quality brochures, proposals and presentation materials without the slowdown typically associated with heavier paper.
The devices offer expanded finishing options, including booklet making and advanced folding, alongside new high‑capacity input and output configurations to reduce manual steps and support polished internal production at scale.
Scanning performance has also been upgraded, with a 300‑sheet DSPF and scan speeds of up to 150opm. Features such as OCR and compact PDF aim to streamline digital workflows and reduce bottlenecks for teams handling large volumes of paperwork.
For customers with more advanced colour and workflow requirements, both models can be configured with an embedded Fiery controller, providing enhanced job and queue management while allowing users to switch between Fiery and Sharp’s standard print driver depending on task and preference.
Security enhancements include BIOS/firmware check and automatic recovery, support for Microsoft Entra ID sign‑in, and optional Bitdefender‑powered virus detection. Sharp has also strengthened sustainability credentials with improved TEC values, packaging made entirely from cardboard, and 50% recycled plastic used in the main unit.
