MSI has begun shipping the XpertStation WS300, a deskside AI supercomputer built on NVIDIA DGX Station architecture and powered by the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip. The system is now available through ASI, D&H and Newegg, giving channel partners a new route to deploy data‑centre‑class AI performance directly into enterprise environments.
Danny Hsu, General Manager of MSI’s Enterprise Platform Solutions, said the launch reflects a shift in how organisations want to operationalise AI. “Enterprises don’t just need powerful AI systems; they need a straightforward way to bring them into production. XpertStation WS300 is designed around that reality, a system that’s ready to run demanding AI workloads the moment it arrives, not one that requires months of additional integration.”
Allen Bourgoyne, director of Enterprise Products at NVIDIA, added that AI workloads are rapidly evolving. “AI is moving from experimentation to always‑on, agentic workloads that demand powerful computing close to where developers and enterprise data reside. With XpertStation WS300 based on NVIDIA DGX Station architecture, MSI is bringing NVIDIA Grace Blackwell Ultra computing to the desk side, giving enterprises the performance and scale to develop, customise and run advanced AI models and agents locally.”
The WS300 combines the GB300 Superchip with up to 748GB of coherent memory and dual 400GbE networking via NVIDIA ConnectX‑8 SuperNIC, enabling two systems to be clustered for scaling high‑performance AI workloads. MSI says the platform is designed for large‑scale model development, fine‑tuning, multimodal AI and high‑performance local inference, keeping foundation models resident in coherent memory to reduce CPU‑GPU data movement and improve inference efficiency.
As enterprises shift from chatbot‑style interactions to LLMs and autonomous AI agents, demand for local compute continues to rise. MSI positions the WS300 as a way for organisations to reduce recurring cloud inference costs, retain control of proprietary data and models, and continuously customise AI systems for internal use.
Beyond model development, the WS300 supports NVIDIA NemoClaw with the NVIDIA OpenShell runtime, enabling policy‑controlled autonomous AI agents to operate securely within enterprise environments. MSI says this will help organisations move from AI‑assisted workflows to full agentic AI deployment.
