QBS receives King’s Award for Enterprise

QBS has been named as a recipient of the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, recognising the distributor’s sustained overseas growth and its expanding role as a global software delivery platform.

The honour, approved by His Majesty The King on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, is one of the UK’s highest business accolades. It highlights the scale of QBS’s international operations and the part it plays in supplying software to major organisations worldwide through its network of vendors and reseller partners. The announcement coincides with the 60th anniversary of the King’s Awards programme, with the 2026 winners published in a special edition of The Gazette on 6 May.

QBS has built its position in the market around a single access point to more than 12,500 software publishers, connecting them with over 6,000 resellers across EMEA. The company has delivered consistent growth through a mix of organic expansion and targeted acquisitions, supported by a recurring revenue model that has helped it scale while maintaining service quality.

Chief executive Dave Stevinson said the award reflects the work of the company’s global team. “It is an incredible accolade for QBS to receive such formal recognition from the King. This is testament to our global workforce delivering software to the world’s largest companies,” he said.

QBS Technology Group operates what it describes as the world’s largest enterprise software delivery platform, specialising in long‑tail and value‑added distribution. The group employs more than 450 people and reports recurring revenues of over $700 million.
