Hammer Distribution has entered a strategic partnership with European cybersecurity vendor Stormshield, adding the company’s full range of Next-Generation Firewalls to its security portfolio. The agreement positions Hammer as a key distributor for Stormshield in the UK and Ireland, expanding access to firewall solutions certified to EU Restricted, NATO Restricted and ANSSI standards.
Hammer said the addition strengthens its commitment to supplying the channel with sovereign, high‑assurance security technologies at a time of rising demand for trusted infrastructure. Dominic Ryles at Hammer Distribution described Stormshield as a vendor with a strong engineering pedigree and a level of assurance suited to organisations facing heightened data protection requirements. He said the partnership would give resellers a competitive advantage in a fast‑growing segment of the cybersecurity market.
For channel partners, the move introduces a European alternative to established US firewall brands, with Hammer set to provide technical pre‑sales support, proof‑of‑concept resources and specialist training. Stormshield’s portfolio spans hardware and virtual appliances designed for environments ranging from small offices to industrial and operational technology networks.
Bertrand Trastour, Head of Global Sales at Stormshield, said Hammer’s technical capability and channel‑focused approach made it the right partner to accelerate regional growth. He added that both companies share a commitment to helping partners address complex security challenges across diverse customer environments.
The partnership is effective immediately, with Stormshield’s full suite of NGFW products now available through Hammer Distribution.
