Arrow Electronics has signed a distribution agreement with Motorola Solutions, a move that broadens Arrow’s security offering and deepens its reach across physical security, cybersecurity and cloud‑based intelligent services.
The agreement gives Arrow access to Motorola Solutions’ video security and access control technologies, delivered through its Avigilon business. The range spans advanced surveillance cameras and AI‑enabled, cloud and hybrid video management platforms designed to support modern security operations and enterprise IT environments.
The partnership reflects the rapid evolution in physical security from standalone surveillance to integrated, software‑driven systems that align with broader cybersecurity strategies. By combining video and access control with enterprise security frameworks, organisations can improve visibility, validate incidents more quickly and strengthen the connection between physical and digital security operations.
Mike Worby, head of strategic alliances at Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business in EMEA noted that Avigilon’s technologies move physical security “beyond passive monitoring into intelligent, AI‑enabled platforms that integrate naturally with enterprise IT and cybersecurity architectures”, positioning Arrow to meet rising demand for unified security capabilities.
Motorola Solutions’ technologies are increasingly deployed as part of wider cloud, cybersecurity and operational technology strategies, with cameras and access control systems now acting as intelligent data sources that support compliance, generate insights and enhance incident response.
Arrow will provide channel partners with technical enablement, solution design and go‑to‑market support to help them address emerging requirements where physical security, cybersecurity and cloud services converge.
