Westcon-Comstor has added Cato Networks to its AWS Marketplace programme, giving partners a new way to buy and sell Cato’s Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technology.
The programme, launched in 2024, is designed to help partners speed up sales and reduce procurement barriers by using AWS Marketplace. It supports multi-currency transactions and allows partners to bundle several products and services into one solution. A dedicated Westcon-Comstor team provides guidance and support as partners grow their marketplace business. Since launch, the programme has delivered more than 100 deals worth tens of millions of dollars.
By joining the programme, Cato Networks can now be purchased through private listings by partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. These partners can then sell directly to customers through AWS Marketplace, using customers’ existing AWS budgets to support land‑and‑expand strategies.
The move follows a distribution agreement signed by the two companies in November. It also aligns with wider market trends, with Omdia predicting that the IT channel will handle 59% of the expected $163 billion spent through hyperscaler marketplaces by 2030.
Daniel Hurel, Senior Vice President for Westcon EMEA Go-To-Market, said the addition of Cato strengthens the commercial offer for partners by helping them close deals faster and match customer cloud spending models.
Karl Soderlund, Global Channel Chief at Cato Networks, said the collaboration will make it easier for customers to adopt the Cato SASE Platform through AWS Marketplace while simplifying procurement for partners.
