Well what a month September was, with the lead up to the PCR Awards and then the big night itself, it certainly has been a frenetic time indeed and I have just returned from a press trip to Vegas!
The PCR Awards at the end of last month was a night of celebrations to award and reward the IT and tech channel’s industry achievements and in the October issue we throw a spotlight on some of the incredible work being undertaken by some of the entrants, both shortlisted for an award and indeed winners of an award this year.
In our big interview we speak with Josh Mansell, Executive Director at Go2Games, a company that is passionate about working with young people in its local community to find out more about its involvement in Levels Learning.
Winner of this year’s Gaming Retailer of the Year award, Chillblast’s Ben Miles gives us the latest on the custom build world of gaming and some future insights.
Tech Data/TD SYNNEX’s James Reed speaks about current opportunities and challenges facing the channel.
We also speak with this year’s PCR Awards headline sponsor, HP to find out more about its commitment to sustainability and how it is getting involved with local communities to accelerate these goals.
SYNAXON UK’s Mike Barron speaks about how business has been the past twelve months, its main focus areas and the future opportunities he foresees over the next 12 months.
Rachel Rothwell at Zyxel, a shortlisted entrant for this year’s Networking Vendor awards category explains the key to Zyxel’s success within the channel and how its cloud strategy is integral to this.
In our Life in the Channel interview, Malwarebytes’ Brian Thomas offers his take on his channel perspective and the cybersecurity landscape.
This just leaves me to say congratulations to everyone who scooped an award this year and to everyone who entered and thank you to all our sponsors for making the night possible, it was great to see such a huge turn out of guests.
