Spire Technology ties up distribution deal with eSports gaming firm

Leading IT distie Spire Technology has tied up a deal with gaming firm Gamdias. The gaming company’s range of products will now be available in the UK after growing rapidly across the pond over the last few years.

Sales director at Spire, Paul Turner, said he expected the UK market to build on the success of Gamdias’ product sales in the US. “With a wide range of products, Gamdias is a great brand that offers a real balance of quality at a competitive level. After a successful launch, and rapid growth in the USA, we’re very excited to be taking the brand forward in the UK as exclusive distributors,” he said. “Gaming and, in particular, eSports is a rapidly growing industry, and is an area that Spire is ideally positioned to take advantage of due to our strength within the high end gaming sector. The continual expansion of our gaming portfolio is further bolstered by our exclusive partnership with Gamdias, and signals an exciting opportunity for our many customers.”

Since establishing in 2012, Gamdias has – in particular – focussed on the world of eSports. Themed around Greek mythology, Gamdias products are named after Greek Gods. The firm also offer products that poses unique mice, keyboard and headset functions as well as offering a wide range of accessories personalised for individual games.

After a successful five years in the States, CEO at Gamdias, Stimson Wang, believes now is the time to spread out across the market. “We are very proud to be launching our product line in the British market and as a brand we thrive to provide the latest technology to all users,” Wang said.

While Gamdias will continue to develop products with the sole aim of fulfilling the needs of all gamers, the company will also continue to develop its ‘Olympics’ platform. The platform allows gamers to exchange tips and pointers on Gamdias products.
