HP to sell its Zvr display direct, but open to channel sales

HP has revealed that it will sell its new Zvr virtual reality display directly.

A HP spokesperson told PCR that pricing and availability for the device will not be shared until spring.

The company also told PCR that additional sales channels will be certified in the coming months.

The Zvr was first unveiled at CES 2015 last week, and features a 23.6-inch monitor with a full HD and 3D screen that also works in conjunction with a pair of 3D glasses.

Four cameras are mounted along the top of the screen, which detect eye and head movement.

A stylus is also included with the display, allowing users to move, rotate and manipulate objects on screen.
