Distributor VIP Computers is giving indies a helping hand this festive season by providing them with extra credit.
The distributor put an additional £450,000 worth of credit across its independent retailer customer base in November. This will be split across its 204 VIP Club members – indies who are customers of VIP.
The move follows a £2 million additional credit investment it made across VIP’s entire customer base excluding major accounts in October 2013.
Richard Marsden, director at VIP Computers, told PCR: “As part of one of our commitments of VIP Club, every customer who signs up to it will get a guaranteed credit limit. So we’re giving credit to an additional 204 customers.
"It’s another demonstration of our commitment to the independent retail sector."
