VIP Computers has cancelled its Evolution 3 exhibition that was due to take place on September 19th in Manchester.
The distributor has revealed that Evolution would not be able to deliver the ROI required by VIP and its partners, and has decided that even better use could be made of vendor investments through alternative avenues and other events.
“We understand that there will be disappointment within the channel, because we’ve had consistently good feedback about the first two events. Evolution has always been about delivering ROI, and given this is a primary concern for both our vendors and VIP, the decision to cancel Evolution is one that we were not afraid to take for that reason,” commented Rich Marsden, director at VIP Computers.
“We will continue to work closely with our vendors and customers to develop new opportunities. We already have plans in the pipeline that we look forward to announcing in due course.”
