Midwich snaps up Owl

Midwich has finalised its buy-out of East Sussex-based Owl Visual Systems, reported CRN.

The firm, which specifies in high-end projectors and display market, boasts contracts with Sanyo, Phillips, Mitsubishi and Panasonic, and will now operate as a stand-alone department of the larger Midwich

Owl has 20 staff and a turnover of £15m, and recently took on the services of a consultancy the help it find buyers after loosing a lucrative contract with NEC.

“We’ve respected and followed Owl’s progress for many years,” said Nick Culley, managing director of Midwich. “Their products, services and customers are a very good fit for Midwich and we both share the same passion for delivering a first class service to our business partners. It’s great to have Shaun on board again and we already have some exciting plans for Owl.”
