Zyxel Networks has partnered with Bitdefender to link its USG FLEX H series firewalls with Bitdefender GravityZone, giving channel retailers, resellers and MSPs a clearer view of network and endpoint protection from a single dashboard. The native integration requires no custom development and allows admins to activate a Bitdefender trial directly from the firewall.
The move targets lean IT teams that often switch between separate systems to monitor licences, OS versions, and device status. By surfacing endpoint categories, operating system versions and licence information within the firewall interface, the integration helps identify risks such as expired licences or outdated devices before they cause disruption.
Bitdefender has maintained a protection rate of 99.8 per cent or higher across the past seven AV-Comparatives Real-World Protection Tests, with GravityZone recording the fewest compromised systems in 2026 while keeping false positives low.
Ken Tsai, President of Zyxel Networks, said the partnership makes endpoint protection easier to manage alongside network security, while Daniel Daraban, Vice President of Products at Bitdefender, said the collaboration helps IT teams act on endpoint risks before gaps become incidents.
Further integration is planned for 2027, including endpoint risk scores, predefined actions and threat intelligence sharing through the Zyxel Security Distribution Network. The Bitdefender integration is available on USG FLEX H firewalls running uOS version 1.40 or later.
