Canon launches imagePROGRAF TM and TX Series

Canon has introduced a new generation of its imagePROGRAF TM and TX Series large-format printers, adding 12 models designed to improve technical output, colour accuracy, and day‑to‑day productivity for professional users.

The updated ranges feature a new high‑density matte black ink and enhanced image processing to deliver sharper line precision and improved detail reproduction. Canon has also expanded its multifunction offering: the TM‑510M and TM‑610M integrate printing and scanning into a single compact unit, streamlining installation and enabling faster, dual‑illuminated scanning for folded or aged documents.

Across the TM Series, print speeds reach up to 3.2 ppm for A1 output, with improved colour mapping on plain paper, supporting applications ranging from CAD drawings to point‑of‑sale materials. Mopria certification and support for IPP class drivers broaden compatibility across mixed IT environments.

For higher‑volume and security‑focused users, the TX Series introduces the 44‑inch TX‑4300 and TX‑4310, and the 36‑inch TX‑3300 and TX‑3310, offering print speeds up to 3.3 ppm for A1 output. Dual‑roll handling, hot‑swappable ink tanks and a redesigned pull‑out basket support continuous production, while PIN printing, encrypted communications and secure drive erasure help protect sensitive documentation.

Both ranges incorporate increased recycled material content and EPS‑free packaging, with selected models listed on the EPEAT Registry in the United States.

Duncan Smith, Country Director, Production at Canon UK & Ireland, said the new models are designed to support faster, more coordinated workflows across technical and professional environments.

The imagePROGRAF TM Series will be available from October 2026, followed by the TX Series in November through Canon resellers in EMEA.
