Canon has expanded its document scanner line-up for channel partners with the launch of the imageFORMULA DR‑C360, a compact, high‑productivity model designed for corporate and government organisations, as well as regulated sectors including banking, finance, healthcare and legal.
The new device joins the imageFORMULA DR‑C300 Series, giving partners three models to help meet growing demand for efficient, flexible and space‑saving capture solutions suited to hybrid work, smaller offices and front‑of‑house environments.
Despite its narrow, ultra‑compact design, the DR‑C360 offers a larger display panel, physical buttons for easier operation and USB Type‑C connectivity. It ships with Canon’s CaptureOnTouch Pro software, enabling quick digitisation, OCR and barcode recognition, plus licence‑free SDK support for customised integrations.
The scanner delivers speeds up to 120ipm and features a 100‑sheet ADF, alongside enhanced media handling that allows passports to be scanned directly without a carrier sheet. Canon says this makes it particularly suitable for sectors where ID capture must be fast and accurate, such as government, financial services, insurance, legal and rental businesses.
Image quality is supported by Active Threshold processing and improved highlighting, designed to reduce rescans and deliver consistently clear results.
Canon also highlights sustainability benefits, including lower power consumption than comparable models, a redesigned roller kit that uses fewer materials and reduced‑plastic packaging made from reusable and biodegradable materials.
