Kaseya Connect Edge showcases the future of IT, cybersecurity and AI

Kaseya has welcomed thousands of MSPs and IT professionals to its global virtual innovation summit, Kaseya Connect Edge, where the company outlined new developments in cybersecurity, compliance and endpoint management. The event highlighted the technologies shaping the future of IT, including AI‑driven automation, cyber resilience and operational efficiency.

Kaseya announced two major enhancements to Datto RMM aimed at helping MSPs and IT teams meet emerging compliance requirements and streamline management across mixed environments.

Datto RMM will introduce FIPS 140‑3 validated cryptography from October 2026, giving MSPs a way to meet government‑grade security requirements without additional cost. The capability is built on a NIST‑validated cryptographic module and covers core communication channels across the platform. It is controlled through a single account‑wide toggle and maintains full functionality across patching, automation, monitoring and remote control, with audit‑ready logging included.

Pratik Wadher, Chief Technology Officer at Kaseya, said the update is designed to help organisations pursue opportunities in regulated sectors without compromising day‑to‑day operations.

The company also confirmed that Datto RMM will add native Apple MDM in early October 2026. MSPs and IT teams will be able to enrol, configure and manage iOS, iPadOS and macOS devices directly within the platform, including bulk enrolment via Apple Business Manager. Mobile devices will appear alongside existing endpoints in dashboards, filters and compliance reports, giving technicians a unified view across their estate.
