Northamber has rebranded its UK cyber security and infrastructure business to Renaissance Distribution, bringing its UK operations in line with its long‑established Irish cyber security arm. The move creates a single specialist brand across both markets as demand grows for managed security and AI‑focused solutions.
The company said the change reflects the close alignment between its UK and Irish cyber teams, which already share vendors, customers and technical expertise. Renaissance in Ireland has operated for more than 20 years as a specialist cyber security VAD, and Northamber said unifying the brand strengthens its position for vendors looking to expand across the UK and Ireland.
According to the distributor, partners are increasingly seeking support to build out security services, develop recurring revenue and guide customers through more complex threat environments. Renaissance Distribution will continue to expand its portfolio of cybersecurity, infrastructure and AI‑focused vendors, alongside programmes such as NROC, aimed at helping partners develop secure and scalable practices.
Qasim Bhatti, Sales Director at Renaissance Distribution, said the new name “better reflects our specialist focus and our ambitions for the future”, highlighting the rapid acceleration of AI adoption and the resulting demand for managed security and AI security services.
Michael Conway, Director of Renaissance Distribution Ireland, said the unified brand “creates a stronger proposition for vendors and partners alike”, adding that combining expertise and strengthening vendor relationships will help partners grow their cybersecurity and managed services practices.
For partners and customers, the change is in name only. Account management, contracts and invoicing will continue to operate through Northamber plc.
