Climb Channel Solutions has expanded its partnership with cybersecurity vendor Fortra into the UK and Ireland to meet rising channel demand for consolidated, data‑centric security platforms driven by AI adoption, regulatory pressure and evolving threat landscapes.
The new agreement builds on the companies’ North American partnership, signed in October 2024, and follows Climb being named North America Commercial Partner of the Year at Fortra’s inaugural Americas Partner Summit in Orlando last month. Climb said the move strengthens its cybersecurity portfolio across UK&I and reflects a shift in customer priorities as organisations look to unify security tooling and improve governance around sensitive data.
Fortra’s platform spans data security, brand protection, exposure management and adversary emulation, with capabilities in data discovery and classification that support compliance, privacy and AI governance strategies. The vendor positions these functions as essential to reducing AI‑related risk, improving threat detection and helping organisations maintain control over data throughout its lifecycle.
Climb noted that AI initiatives are increasing the volume and movement of sensitive information, prompting organisations to rethink security around data rather than infrastructure alone. This is creating fresh opportunities for channel partners and MSPs to deliver integrated platforms that support compliance, operational efficiency and broader governance requirements.
Gerard Brophy, CRO at Climb, said the UK&I expansion was a natural progression after strong North American growth. He added that rising AI adoption and regulation were accelerating demand for platform consolidation, with Fortra well placed to address that shift. Brophy said the partnership would help EMEA partners streamline security stacks, meet tightening data protection requirements and support customers navigating AI and governance challenges.
Faraz Siraj, Vice President of Global Channels & Alliances at Fortra, said the company had built a strong relationship with Climb since the initial agreement and was looking forward to extending that success into UK&I. He highlighted Climb’s cybersecurity expertise and track record in bringing innovative vendors to market as key to capturing growing demand for Fortra’s AI‑amplified solutions.
