Brother UK has appointed Mike Brown as Business Manager – Specialist Print, adding further experience to its channel sales team as the company looks to grow its partner network across the UK.
Brown has worked in the print and document solutions sector for more than 30 years, holding roles at Ikon Office Solutions, Altodigital, Konica Minolta and Ricoh UK. His background spans both vendor and reseller organisations, giving him long experience of how partners operate and what support they need.
In his new role, Brown will focus on bringing new resellers and dealers into the Brother UK network. He will also work on developing a pipeline of opportunities and supporting partners that want to expand into print, labelling and managed print services.
Brown said he was drawn to the role because of Brother UK’s straightforward approach to working with partners. He added that his priority is to build new relationships and help existing partners re‑engage with the company’s offering.
Since joining, Brown has started initiatives such as ‘Meet the MD’ events, which introduce prospective partners to Brother UK’s leadership team and give insight into its channel strategy.
Greig Millar, Chief Revenue Officer at Brother UK, said Brown’s experience and understanding of the channel will support the company’s plans to expand its partner base and help resellers deliver value to customers.
