Zyxel Networks has named Rachel Rothwell as Senior Director for Western Europe, expanding her remit to include operations in France, Italy, Spain, the UK, and Ireland. The appointment forms part of a broader EMEA reorganisation aimed at ensuring consistent strategic execution as the company’s footprint in key markets continues to grow.
Rothwell brings two decades of experience at Zyxel Networks, including three years as Senior Regional Director for the UK&I and nearly eight years overseeing Southern Europe and the UK. Her expanded leadership role is expected to support alignment across regional teams and accelerate growth for Zyxel Networks and its channel partners.
“The visibility and strength of the Zyxel Networks brand has grown significantly, and with a new partner programme in place since the start of this year and expanded product lines, we are now ready to enter the next phase of growth and development,” said Rothwell. “I look forward to working with the teams in all five countries within the Western Europe region and supporting their continued efforts to drive sales growth for Zyxel Networks and our MSP and reseller partners.”
Jean-Michel Bielli, SVP Channel Sales for EMEA and North America, added: “As we continue to evolve and grow our presence in key markets, it’s important to be clear and consistent in the execution of our strategy. With her vast knowledge and experience of our business and of working with partners throughout the region, Rachel is the ideal person to lead our in-country teams in this key territory.”
Zyxel Networks continues to invest in its managed services offering, anchored by the Nebula cloud management platform. Recent product launches include the USG FLEX H firewall series and an expanded portfolio of WiFi 7 access points. The company also introduced a Pay as You Go (PAYG) option for Nebula, enhancing flexibility for MSPs and resellers.
