Basingstoke-based Datech, the specialist design software arm of TD Synnex, has signed a distribution agreement with Newforma to offer its Konekt suite of project and information management tools to partners in the UK and Ireland. The deal forms part of a wider agreement covering TD Synnex’s footprint across North America and Europe.
The partnership aims to accelerate digital transformation in the architecture, engineering, construction and owner (AECO) sector by expanding access to cloud-based collaboration and data management solutions. Newforma’s platform centralises project information, from drawings and RFIs to submittals and contract changes, helping teams reduce risk and eliminate rework.
“This is a further significant step in Datech’s diversification strategy and an exciting addition to our portfolio,” said Jaap Smit, Senior Vice President, Datech and Business Applications Global at TD Synnex. “Newforma’s solutions will enable our partners to help organisations across the built environment unlock new levels of productivity, efficiency and project success.”
Peter Cannone, CEO of Newforma, added: “We’re thrilled to partner with TD Synnex, whose reputation for excellence and innovation perfectly complements Newforma’s mission to deliver modern, intuitive, future-ready AECO solutions.”
The agreement also gives partners access to technical support, onboarding, and training through Datech, along with integration into its strategic value-add programme. This includes business dashboards, automated services, and go-to-market support aligned with TD Synnex’s LAER methodology. The recently launched Info Track module for Newforma Konekt further enhances collaboration by capturing and sharing project knowledge across distributed teams.
