e92plus has partnered with ThreatLocker, a Zero Trust endpoint protection leader. The e92plus partner community of VARs, MSPs, and GSIs will now be able to access Threatlocker solutions as part of the e92plus portfolio, with the agreement covering the UK, Ireland, and Benelux regions.
ThreatLocker has a ‘deny-by-default’ posture, built on Zero Trust principles. Unlike traditional cybersecurity solutions that rely on detecting and responding to known threats, ThreatLocker proactively prevents unauthorised applications and processes from executing. The application of allowlisting ensures that only explicitly approved software runs on protected systems, significantly reducing the attack surface and mitigating risks associated with malware and ransomware.
“The Zero Trust concept has proven popular with large enterprises, but historically has been too complex for many organisations to embrace at scale and velocity,” said Mukesh Gupta, CEO of e92plus. “We’re very excited to be partnering with ThreatLocker, as their unique disruptive approach presents a huge opportunity for our channel community, and enables them to differentiate from their competitors offering legacy solutions.”
Zero Trust has seen significant growth as a model for IT teams to move away from traditional defences. However, a major change in approach with costs and complexities has meant it has been reserved for larger enterprises. ThreatLocker aims to make embracing Zero Trust affordable for businesses of all sizes.
