Infinity Group acquires Pax8 end-customer business

Infinity Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Pax8 and acquired its end-customer business, formerly part of Bam Boom Cloud.

The acquisition brings 200 Business Central customers into Infinity Group’s existing base of 340 clients. The acquisition establishes Infinity Group as one of the largest independently owned Business Central partners in the UK. This sits alongside their practices in the areas of Microsoft Security, Modern Workplace, Data & AI, and Customer Engagement.

The news marks Infinity Group’s ongoing commitment and investment in the Dynamics 365 and Business Applications space, as well as its dedication to providing valuable solutions to SMBs across the marketplace.

Rob Young, CEO of Infinity Group, said: “We are delighted to enter into this strategic partnership with Pax8 and acquire BamBoom Cloud’s customers to grow our Business Central business. It’s a key step in our growth, allowing us to deliver fixed price, fixed outcome solutions across Dynamics 365 and Business Central at scale.”

“This acquisition also provides a launchpad for us to further invest in up-and-coming talent, increasing delivery capability, capacity and investment in IP to keep up with increasing demand for Dynamics 365. All in all, it’s an exciting next chapter for Infinity Group.”

Robert Smithson, UK Business Applications Lead for Microsoft, also praised the news: “The market has been calling out for a partner to solidify their position in the SMB Business Applications space. I’m really excited by this move from Infinity Group as they continue to deliver value to our mutual customers who are transforming across the Microsoft Cloud.”

The acquisition comes from Pax8, a leading cloud marketplace for IT professionals to buy, sell and manage best-in-class technology solutions. Pax8 currently serves over 500,000 enterprises through its channel partners and processes one million monthly transactions.

It marks the beginning of a long-term strategic partnership between Infinity Group and Pax8, with Infinity Group becoming a channel partner of Pax8.

Brett Critchley, VP of Business Applications at Pax8, said: “We’re thrilled to embark on this partnership with Infinity Group, propelling their growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and mitigating risks. Our commitment to fostering innovation and positive transformations perfectly mirrors Infinity Group’s ethos. This partnership will open up new doors for these end-customers, whilst ensuring commitment to our 100% indirect business model.”

Rob Young added: “We’ve had a great time working as a channel partner of Pax8 so far. Our people and ethos complement each other completely and we can’t wait to see what’s next as we continue to work together.”

The partnership also coincides with Infinity Group’s first moves into EU and US markets. With new locations in Europe and America, the firm can now transact across the UK, EU and US and provide Microsoft solutions to support more businesses.
