Agilitas golf day raises £4,000 for children’s charity

Agilitas IT Solutions’ annual Partner Golf Day has raised £4,000 for the Children With Special Needs Foundation.

Taking place at Bearwood Lakes, which has hosted the Rose Ladies Series for the last three years, the teams were treated to some trick shot mastery at the Golf Clinic, before taking to the course to see which team would come out victorious while playing alongside golf professionals and Agilitas ambassadors Georgia Hall and Geoff Swain.

“We welcomed our partners on the day, with the likes of Maintel, Misco, Daisy, IBM and CDW all in attendance,” said Shaun Lynn, CEO at Agilitas. “We were extremely lucky to have money can’t buy prizes, kindly donated by our Agilitas ambassadors, including signed Georgia Hall memorabilia from her Solheim Cup win. The generosity of our partners meant £3,000 was raised in the charity raffle, which Agilitas then rounded up to £4,000 for the Children With Special Needs Foundation, which is fantastic.”

Agilitas Brand Ambassador and former Women’s British Open Champion, Georgia Hall attended the day after recently competing at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in North Carolina at the US Women’s Open. It has been a busy 2022 for Georgia Hall, who also clinched her second LET title with a victory in Saudi Arabia at the Aramco Saudi Ladies International earlier this year.

“We are so grateful to Agilitas and their golf supporters for raising the great sum of £4,000 from their Partner Golf Day at Bearwood Lakes,” said Gordon Parris MBE JP,  Children With Special Needs Foundation. “The money will be spent on purchasing a special sports wheelchair for a boy who loves to play indoor football; some sensory lights in a young child’s bedroom and a communication device for a little girl who has complex special needs. Thank you everyone, who whilst enjoying playing golf were helping our special children.”

“Agilitas has been supporting the CWSNF for a number of years, and once again, our partners have shown such wonderful generosity to raise an impressive sum for such a worthy cause,” concluded Shaun Lynn. “We’d like to thank our partners as well as our ambassadors Georgia Hall and Geoff Swain for helping us make this day such a success.”
