Tech Data’s Aruba-based solution to support safe return to workplace

Tech Data has created a solution combining technologies from HPE Aruba and two specialist vendors, which partners can use to support customers in ensuring a safe return to the workplace.

The smart building solution combines Aruba wireless networking technology with sensors from EnOcean and the MobiusFlow IoT Edge Platform from IAconnects, allowing organisations to monitor meeting room and desk occupancy, cleaning schedules, and energy usage.

When integrated with an existing IT infrastructure, the IAconnects software, EnOcean IoT sensors, and Aruba access points can provide organisations with real-time data and visualisation, enabling them to manage resources safely and effectively. In addition, the iOffice desk booking software system can make use of IAconnects sensors and fully-integrates with the Aruba Smart meeting solution.

Matt Child, managing director, Advanced Solutions, Tech Data, UK and Ireland said: “Organisations will already be preparing for the new challenges that face them as employees return to the workplace. The combined Aruba, EnOcean and IAconnects solution enables them to address several areas that are key to keeping employees and guests safe and productive. This will be a great way for partners to add value, get closer to their customers, and take their first step into the world of IoT and analytics.”
