Red Sift has announced a new distribution partnership with cybersecurity solutions distributor e92cloud, part of the e92plus group.
With an average of 90% of data breaches involving human error, targeting the inbox is the most popular cyberattack vector right now – where users spend a lot of their time, and it can be hard to differentiate legitimate emails from phishing attacks.
With BEC (Business Email Compromise) costing business £21 billion and counting (according to the FBI), it’s a problem that’s growing and represents a significant opportunity for a fresh approach. The adoption of DMARC is currently at just 5% of the top 30m domains, yet by using OnDMARC the approach to configuration couldn’t be simpler, which then ensure the domains are protected. Then with the on-going struggles of human error unlikely to ever be fixed purely through phishing training, OnINBOX protects the user through machine learning to identify inbound threats.
“Red Sift warmly welcomes e92cloud, and the wider e92plus group, as a distribution partner for Red Sift’s suite of email & domain security solutions,” said Neil Crossley, Channel Director, EMEA.
“We believe Red Sift’s solutions, that help protect against business email compromise andspoofing, as well as adding protection to the inbox, will bring additional value and business to e92cloud. This compliments our focus on building a technology portfolio that enables organisations to transform their business through the cloud, delivering next generation solutions that defend against the most advanced threats through a cloud-first approach” said Sam Murdoch, Managing Director of e92cloud.
“We have invested time and effort in building our channel within the UK, and with a growing partner network coupled with ever increasing interest in both our outbound domain protection (OnDMARC) and inbound email threat detection (OnINBOX) solutions, we realised the need to have support from a real VAD. We expect that the partnership with e92cloud and the e92plus group will help Red Sift’s growth strategy within the channel, and enable greater market expansion across the UK in the years to come” said Crossley.
Red Sift provides email based security solutions that continue to have relevance in today’s market. Initially focused around OnDMARC’s domain based protection, and stopping spoofing and business email compromise, Red Sift have recently launched OnINBOX, a warning system using machine learning to detect potential threats in every email.
As of 10th July 2020, e92cloud will be offering the complete Red Sift product portfolio:
– OnDMARC – Actively block domain-based phishing attacks, stop email impersonation and boost email deliverability.
– OnINBOX – Available for both Office 365 and G Suite users, this company-wide, inbound email threat detection provides users with clear risk indicators at the top of every email opened on a laptop, mobile, or via any app.
For partners, Red Sift offers the perfect complement to their email security portfolio, explains Sam Murdoch: “We see increasingly how attacks are becoming more person, aimed at the users, and the most direct route is through their inbox. Domain security is often an overlooked area, so by partnering with Red Sift they can offer clear benefits and ROI, enhancing their existing offering and adding essential value to their customers.”
