Wi-Fi 6

Extension of the Deco family

The Deco X60 combines two WLAN technologies: the intelligence of a mesh with the power of a Wi-Fi 6 router, to deliver higher transmission speeds compared to the current generation, to power virtual reality applications or 4K streaming. For users who need WiFi transmitted over several floors or through thick walls, Deco P9 combines mesh and powerline technology to transmit data via the domestic power circuit.

Components for a smart home

The new generation of its WiFi smart bulbs are not only more powerful, but also comes in the new design. The industrial design KL50 / KL60 fit even better into the smart home. They can be controlled via the Kasa app or respond to voice commands when linked with Amazon Alexa or The Google Assistant. Brand new in the product portfolio is the KL430 light strip, giving users interior design creativity free rein. The smart home portfolio is rounded off by the KC115 indoor security camera, which can store videos either via cloud storage or locally on a microSD card.

Neffos X20 smartphone

Under its smartphone brand Neffos, TP-Link is presenting the shapely X20 at IFA. Its 6.26-inch display with V-Notch offers plenty of room for an intense game or video experience, which can last longer due to the durable 4,100 mAh battery. The camera provides 13 megapixels (5 MP back) and provides with artificial intelligence for the perfect picture. It recognizes different scenes or objects and automatically selects the appropriate settings. The Neffos X20 will launch in Germany in September and comes in black and Aurora Purple for the price of 139 EUR (RRP).

“Tapo”

For consumers who are looking for a reasonably priced entry into the convenience of smart home, TP-Link presents its new brand “Tapo” at IFA. The portfolio includes the security cameras Tapo C100 and C200 and the Wi-Fi plug-in Tapo P100 smart plug. Later in the year, the portfolio of entry-level products will be expanded with the launch of smart WiFi bulbs and additional cameras and sockets.
