Westcoast to help resellers maximise opportunities offered by HPE’s GreenLake

Westcoast has said it’s ready to help resellers maximise the opportunities offered by HPE’s new on-prem infrastructure consumption model, GreenLake.

Last month, at its Global Partner Summit in Las Vegas, HPE announced that it would be making HPE GreenLake Flex Capacity available to the channel.

HPE GreenLake is a suite of complete, curated solutions delivering IT outcomes with hardware, software, and expertise in the datacentre in a pay-per-use model.

Flex Capacity currently includes seven packages for pre-defined business outcomes and has been created for partners to empower them to earn increased margin and help build an annuity revenue stream.

According to Paul Harman, Westcoast’s technology solutions director, the distributor is already processing orders from its partners.

“We are fast out of the blocks. We’ve been working with HPE to help shape the offering, review the predefined packages and make sure we can deliver it to the channel,” said Harman.

“So, our message around this exciting proposition to partners is simple – there’s no need to wait – we are ready to transact now. We’ve got everything in place to help resellers make the most from this new model including collateral and a partner-ready toolkit.”

HPE GreenLake is the brand name HPE gives to its as-a-service offerings, and Flex Capacity gives customers the option to pay for what they consume. HPE GreenLake Flex Capacity brings hardware and software into a single, as-a-service bundle.

“The pay-per-use model of HPE Pointnext Flex Capacity provides more customers access to new technologies required on-premises,” said HPE’s Mark Armstrong. “This offering also shows how HPE is helping partners succeed in today’s fast-paced environment with packages that are easy to quote and sell.”
