Flexible, paper-thin and transparent displays ?key to business users? in the near future

LG Display’s CEO and president, Sang-Beom Han believes that futuristic displays will be key to business and consumer users in the near future, and will be discussing the monitor market in his opening keynote at this year’s IFA 2015.

Dr. Han will be asking ‘what comes next?’ after the current display trends such as 4K and curved screens.

His keynote will grant trade visitors and media insights into the future of display technologies and product specifications, including the likes of paper-thin, transparent and flexible screens.

“LG Display’s opening keynote at IFA 2015 focuses on a technology that is key to consumer and business users — the display. This is a moment to look forward as a global pioneer and technology leader envisions the future. We are thrilled to get IFA started together with Sang-Beom Han,“ said Jens Heithecker, IFA executive director.

Throughout June, IT Channel Expert is focussing on ‘the office of the future’, and judging from what we’ve already heard from the likes of Intel on its top tips on transforming the workplace, and SolarWinds’ report on the more important IT business trends in 2015, if transparent and flexible screens enable employees to increase there productivity and collaborate with each other more effectively, we can easily see them becoming an office staple in the near future.
