Tech Data has added the FileMaker range of software to its TD Activate-here digital download platform.
The distributor says this makes it easier for resellers and retailers to offer database management systems to SMBs and home users.
FileMaker is an Apple subsidiary company but the software can also be used on Windows systems. Users can manage customer data, track assets, organise projects, create reports and more.
To get started, users can drag and drop from Excel, and access the numerous tutorials and resources available online.
Nick Stancliffe, digital distribution business development manager at Tech Data UK, said: “FileMaker’s enduring popularity makes it an ideal product line for TD Activate-here.
“Downloading and activating software is an increasingly popular delivery method, both for buyers and for resellers. It is quick, convenient and keeps costs down.”
"FileMaker makes TD Activate-here even more attractive and we expect to see the number of retail and reseller customers using it their standard in-house activation solution continuing to grow.”
