It's the month of moustaches for charity

Movember: The tech channel sees new growth

It’s the month of itchy upper lips and raising money for charity. Some call it November, others know it by its true name – Movember.

I hear a few of you, mostly the clean-shaven ones, asking what Movember is.

Here’s a quick refresher from the Movember website: "Movember is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

"At the start of Movember guys register with a clean shaven face. The Movember participants, known as Mo Bros, have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their Mo, raising money along the way to benefit men’s health."

A commendable activity indeed, you reply.

This is why several firms in the IT/tech channel are doing their bit to raise money for charity.

If you’re raising money and not in this list – let us know!

Koch Media

Be hairy for charity, or give a few pence to those who are.
