Interactive Ideas announces I.R.I.S. partnership

Software and peripherals distributor Interactive Ideas has announced that it has signed a distribution contract with I.R.I.S.

I.R.I.S. develops technologies and products for Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR). Interactive Ideas will help develop the brand within the UK market and will distribute I.R.I.S.’s range of software and pen scanners.

The newest editions to this range are the IRISNotes Express 2 and Executive 2 digital pens. They are both battery-powered pens that include a receiver, which can store up to 100 pages of text. This stored information can then be uploaded to a PC.

The Express 2 enables the user to send notes to computer text processors such as Word and Notepad. The Executive 2 can send handwritten notes and graphs directly to iPhone or iPad.

“We are delighted to be working with I.R.I.S., our aim is to constantly bring new revenue opportunities to our customers with the latest technology. I.R.I.S. has impressed us with the innovation and quality of their products. With our experience of building brands and introducing new technologies we look forward to supporting I.R.I.S.’s expansion in the UK market,” commented Interactive’s marketing director Michael Breeze.
