The US has begun an investigation into HP to establish whether any employees, past or present, paid kickbacks to channel partners in Europe.
According to Reuters, HP has been asked for information about whether its staff in Russia, Germany, Austria, Serbia, the Netherlands or CIS made improper payments to channel partners or other bodies.
In a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the firm said it was cooperating with the investigation.
