HP Slate specs revealed

The specifications for HP’s Slate PC have been leaked, revealing that the forthcoming device could well offer Apple’s iPad a run for its money.

According to slides revealed by Engadget, the new device will run on Windows 7 and feature a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, integrated Intel UMA graphics with 1080p playback, 32GB or 64 GB of flash memory, a gigabyte of RAM and a 1024×600 WSVGA display. It also features an inward facing VGA webcam and an outward facing three megapixel camera.

Connectivity will be covered by Wireless B and G, Bluetooth or optional 3G, while ports include a SD/SDHC/SDXC card reader, a headphone or microphone jack, and a USB 2.0 dock connector for power, audio, HDMI and USB connections.
