The PlayStation 4 (PS4) UK release date has been confirmed for November 29th – meaning it will arrive during the same month as Xbox One.
Sony Computer Entertainment President and Group CEO Andrew House announced the UK and Europe street date during Sony’s Gamescom 2013 press conference.
The PS4 will arrive in the US a couple of weeks earlier on November 15th.
The UK date tallies with PC World and Currys’ statement that the PS4 would launch in the UK this November.
Rival console Xbox One will also arrive this November – although a specific date has not yet been set.
Sony also announced that the PS4 has racked up one million pre-orders across the world.
