GCX appoints Evans to lead UK channel development

GCX Managed Services has strengthened its European channel organisation with three new appointments, including the hire of Josh Evans as UK Channel Lead for the UK.

Evans brings extensive experience in the UK connectivity market and will focus on expanding GCX’s sell‑to and sell‑with opportunities, building new partner relationships and supporting UK partners serving international customers. His appointment forms part of GCX’s strategy to deepen local channel expertise in each major sales region and simplify partner access to GCX’s global managed network and security capabilities.

GCX has also expanded its channel leadership in mainland Europe. Klaus Marzell joins to drive growth across Germany and the wider DACH region, bringing more than 30 years’ experience working with technology vendors, service providers and enterprise consultancies. In Italy, Matteo Badii brings over two decades of telecommunications and wholesale experience, strengthening strategic partner relationships and identifying new opportunities across the technology and telecoms ecosystem.

The expanded team will support service providers, telecom operators, SASE providers and technology partners looking to simplify service delivery, extend their market reach and access global connectivity capabilities through trusted channel relationships.

Michael Hartmann, Chief Revenue Officer at GCX Managed Services, said the appointments reflect the company’s commitment to making it easier for partners to do business with GCX. He noted growing demand from service providers and technology partners seeking simple, secure and scalable ways to extend their reach and deliver international services.

GCX is also enhancing the partner experience through improved pricing and quoting capabilities, AI‑powered tools for faster budgetary pricing, and expanded onboarding, training and support resources. Continued investment in automation and operational improvements aims to simplify engagement throughout the partner lifecycle.

The company plans to build on a 50% increase in its channel partner base through targeted recruitment, increased co‑sell activity and deeper regional collaboration, helping partners unlock new opportunities and deliver greater value to customers worldwide.
