BenQ launches PV50 Series monitors for post‑production professionals

BenQ has expanded its Creative Pro line-up with the launch of the PV50 Series, introducing two new 4K monitors designed for colour‑critical post‑production work: the 32-inch PV3250U and 27-inch PV2750U.

Aimed at editors, colourists and content creators, the PV50 Series focuses on reliable dark‑tone reproduction and long‑term colour stability in Rec.709 workflows. BenQ’s Dark‑Tone Clarity technology is tuned to a gamma 2.4 curve and paired with a 3000:1 contrast ratio IPS panel to minimise black crush and preserve shadow detail during grading. Corner‑to‑corner uniformity and 16‑bit 3D LUT hardware calibration further support consistent evaluation across the full screen.

The monitors also integrate workflow tools including Shadow Check for low‑luminance inspection, Marker for aspect‑ratio previews, and Area Zoom for detailed region analysis. A magnetic shading hood and Hotkey Puck are included, while Thunderbolt 4 connectivity delivers video, data and up to 96W power over a single cable.
