Target Components has been named official UK distributor for Sea Sonic, giving the Yorkshire‑based firm access to the full catalogue of Seasonic PC power supplies, including the PrimeTX range for high‑end gaming and workstation builds and refreshed lines such as the CoreGX Series.
Sea Sonic is widely recognised for electrical performance, reliability and conservative engineering, with low RMA rates and strong adoption among system builders and professional users. The appointment follows the manufacturer’s recent achievement of the new 80 Plus Ruby certification for its Prime Enterprise RX‑1600 – the first PSU to meet the programme’s highest efficiency tier, including at 5% load. The standard is aimed at multi‑workstation environments in sectors such as education, government and healthcare where long‑term energy use is a key consideration.
Kelly Coxon, Purchasing Manager at Target Components, said the partnership strengthens the distributor’s PC building capabilities and adds another globally recognised brand to its roster. Sea Sonic’s European Territory Manager, Ray Milton, highlighted Target’s broad customer base of system builders and resellers, noting growing demand for reliable PSUs across business, home, gaming and enterprise deployments.
