Ci Distribution has agreed a new UK partnership with Podloc, adding the company’s shared‑device management systems to its portfolio.
Podloc supplies modular charging lockers and software designed to keep shared mobile devices secure, charged and easy to track. The system gives organisations clear visibility of who is using each device, helping reduce loss, downtime and queues at shift changes.
The technology is aimed at sectors that rely on large numbers of shared handhelds, including logistics, warehousing, aviation, retail, manufacturing and healthcare. Podloc’s approach combines physical lockers with its Vlocr software, creating a single platform for managing device access and availability.
Through Ci Distribution, UK resellers will be able to offer Podloc with local commercial support and technical guidance. The distributor says the agreement strengthens its position in rugged mobility and enterprise solutions.
Jon Atherton, group sales director at Ci Distribution, said the addition comes at a time when shared‑device use is rising across many industries. “Podloc’s all‑in‑one device management solution gives our reseller partners a strong opportunity to deliver real operational value while increasing additional product and infrastructure sales,” he said.
