Specialist distributor Brigantia has announced it is acquiring Zen Software, a UK-based software distributor. The deal will expand Brigantia’s capabilities in areas such as cybersecurity, data management, and email solutions.
Zen Software, based in Rochdale, has supported more than 2,000 IT resellers and managed service providers across the UK over the past 30 years. As part of the acquisition, Brigantia will take over Zen Software’s infrastructure, vendor relationships, and partner network. The company will continue operating under the name ‘Zen Software by Elovade’.
Brigantia has been growing its services since joining the Elovade Group in 2025. It has expanded its product team and added broader expertise beyond its core focus on cybersecurity. The company has also increased the range of vendors it works with to support IT administration and MSP management.
Zen Software’s portfolio includes products such as MDaemon and MailStore. These are already widely used within the Elovade Group, making the acquisition a practical fit.
Brigantia Managing Director Angus Shaw said the acquisition strengthens Brigantia’s capabilities and brings additional expertise into the business. He also noted that the two companies share similar values.
Ross McWilliam said he is proud of the business Zen Software has built and believes Brigantia and Elovade are the right partners for its next stage. He added that the move will benefit existing partners and support future growth.
