Leading cybersecurity distributor Brigantia welcomed over 200 attendees to its Annual Partner Conference last week, held at The Milner Hotel in York. The two-day event, which sold out weeks in advance, showcased cutting-edge vendor solutions, expert-led sessions, and a strong sense of community among managed service providers (MSPs).
“Our Annual Partner Conference continues to grow, and this year has set a new benchmark,” said Brigantia Managing Director Angus Shaw. “To see the event grow to three times its size just a few years ago is a real testament to the strength of the Brigantia community.”
The conference opened with a keynote from Darren Guccione, CEO and Co-Founder of Keeper Security, who shared insights on cybersecurity trends and leadership. Guccione, a frequent contributor to global tech panels and media, led the first vendor presentation of the event.
Vendor showcases included Keeper, Heimdal, Paessler, Sendmarc, Hornetsecurity, and Redstor, while breakout sessions featured AuthN by IDEE, CyberSmart, Adoptech, Rootshell, ITagree, and KnowBe4. Attendees engaged in ‘Ask Me Anything’ focus groups and panel discussions on M&A strategy and the evolving role of AI and automation in MSP operations.
Guest speakers addressed topics ranging from customer communication to operational efficiency and scaling sales, offering practical takeaways for MSPs navigating growth and transformation.
A highlight of the event was guest speaker, rugby legend Kevin Sinfield CBE. Titled ‘Best version of you’, the session was hosted by former professional player Jamie Jones-Buchanan and featured heartfelt stories from Sinfield’s career and his fundraising efforts for the motor neurone disease (MND) community.
Brigantia’s commitment to charitable giving was evident in its support for The Three Bears Foundation, a York-based charity focused on pancreatic cancer. A silent auction held during the evening dinner raised an impressive £16,000. Founding trustee Mark Burn shared his personal journey and the foundation’s mission with attendees.
“I’m especially proud that we came together in support of The Three Bears Foundation,” Shaw added. “Raising an incredible amount to support the amazing work of the charity was a real highlight.”
