Keepit has signed a strategic agreement with Hammer Distribution to expand its data protection offering in the UK and Ireland. The partnership will help organisations protect important SaaS data using an independent backup and recovery layer, supported by Keepit’s local data centres to meet UK compliance and data sovereignty needs.
Alex Walsh, Regional Vice President at Keepit, said that demand for SaaS data protection is rising and that local, vendor‑independent storage is becoming essential. Keepit currently protects fourteen SaaS applications and plans to add more. Its platform is designed to ensure customers can always access their data, even if the original SaaS service is unavailable.
Walsh says working with Hammer will allow Keepit to scale its UK presence with local expertise. The agreement also supports Keepit’s wider channel strategy, which focuses on resellers and MSPs that prioritise cyber resilience.
Hammer’s Director of Cloud and Cybersecurity, Dominic Ryles, said the distributor chose Keepit because more customers want third‑party SaaS backup to support their cloud environments.
