Lenovo has appointed Andy Rhodes as its new General Manager for the United Kingdom and Ireland (UK&I), strengthening the company’s regional leadership as it continues to expand across key technology markets.
Rhodes joins Lenovo from HP, where he held several senior leadership roles, including Division President & General Manager of HP’s Video Conferencing & Accessories Division and global leadership of the company’s Commercial PC business. His career also includes more than a decade at Dell in executive positions spanning data centre, workstation, and Industrial IoT operations.
“I’m genuinely excited to be joining Lenovo at a time of such rapid growth and opportunity, particularly as Hybrid AI reshapes our industry and how we serve customers,” Rhodes said. “Lenovo has a clear strategy, strong momentum and incredible people; a combination that matters.”
Rhodes succeeds Adrian Criddle, who has led the UK&I organisation for the past two years through a period of significant transformation. Criddle will remain with Lenovo for an interim period to support a smooth transition and work closely with leadership as Rhodes steps into the role.
Matt Dobrodziej, Lenovo SVP & Europe President, welcomed the appointment: “I’m excited to welcome Andy to Lenovo. He’s a highly experienced technology industry leader and a great fit for our UK & Ireland business. I’m confident he will further strengthen our business across the UK and Ireland while bringing a huge amount of energy and enthusiasm to the role.
“I’d also like to thank Adrian for the key role he’s played in deepening our relationships with customers and partners, and his commitment, professionalism and care for the team. We wish him well for the future.”
