Sage has named Gretchen O’Hara as Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development, signalling a renewed focus on partner ecosystem expansion and AI-driven customer development for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs).
O’Hara brings more than 25 years of experience in channel sales, business development, and ecosystem transformation. She is widely recognised for her leadership in partner advocacy, sustainability, and advancing women in technology.
In her new role, O’Hara will oversee the scaling of Sage’s partner ecosystem, with a remit to accelerate growth through diversified business models and unlock new opportunities via AI and cloud technologies. “Joining Sage at this pivotal moment presents an incredible opportunity,” said O’Hara. “With Sage’s brand strength and its innovation in AI for SMBs, we’re well positioned to expand the partner ecosystem, open new routes to market, and deliver solutions that drive real business outcomes.”

O’Hara joins Sage from Splunk, a Cisco company, where she served as Vice President of Worldwide Channels and Alliances. Her tenure included building strategic alliances with hyperscalers and global systems integrators to support hybrid and multi-cloud deployments. Prior to Splunk, she spent 18 years at Microsoft in executive roles spanning AI, sustainability, and go-to-market strategy.
