Northamber appoints Ian Kilpatrick as non-executive director

Northamber PLC has appointed Ian Kilpatrick as a Non-Executive Director, effective immediately, as the company intensifies its focus on value-added services, cybersecurity investment, and international expansion.

Kilpatrick brings more than four decades of IT and channel experience, having founded Wick Hill, one of the UK’s early value-added distributors specialising in cybersecurity. He led the company through sustained growth before its acquisition by Nuvias Group in 2015, where he played a key role in scaling operations across Europe.

Kilpatrick’s cybersecurity background is particularly relevant as Northamber accelerates investment in its cyber business through specialist units including Renaissance and Northamber Solutions. The company is also expanding its international footprint, with operations now established in Ireland through Renaissance and Tempura Communications, and in Belgium and the Netherlands via Epatra, following a series of acquisitions.
