Blackman appointed EMEA head of VAR & SI commercial sales at AMD

AMD has appointed James Blackman as EMEA head of VAR & SI commercial sales at AMD. Blackman brings 30 years of experience to the role, transitioning from his previous position within AMD leading HP sales across EMEA.

With a strong background in sales, Blackman will focus on building a robust commercial channel community for AMD across the EMEA region.  His expertise will support partners leveraging AMD’s technological advantages across various value-added resellers and system integrators, including high-performance compute, leading sustainability innovations, and AI capabilities.

Blackman’s appointment underscores AMD’s commitment to strengthening its channel partnerships and expanding its reach within the EMEA market.  He will be key in empowering partners to deliver cutting-edge solutions to their customers, capitalising on AMD’s innovative technologies.
