BT Wholesale’s Partner Connect Tour brings partners together

BT Wholesale has wrapped up the first leg of its Partner Connect Tour across London, Birmingham and Manchester. Designed to foster collaboration and empower partners with insights on industry trends, customer retention, and growth strategies, the event saw impressive engagement from BT Wholesale’s partners. Across the three locations, more than 80 partners attended, with 90% rating it 4 or more out of 5 and 95% agreeing it was a valuable event. BT Wholesale is now heading out to partners, building bespoke sessions at their offices to meet their individual needs.

The event series was inspired by BT Wholesale’s research which found that  75% of IT decision makers wanted more face time with their technology partner. To address this need, it was important to BT Wholesale that the event took place across  the UK. In all three cities,  a comprehensive agenda  informed, inspired, and equiped partners with the tools to strengthen their market positioning and accelerate growth. Hosted by Christopher Wellbelove DL, Senior Marketing Consultant, Partner Plus, each event included:

  • Keynote presentation by futurologist Dr. Nicola Millard who shared key trends and projections for the future of work.
  • Guest speakers, for example, a presentation by analyst Cavell on UK market data and Microsoft telephony forecasts.
  • A review of BT Wholesale’s 2024 whitepaper, packed with research-driven insights delivered via a light-hearted game of Bingo.
  • Chats with industry experts so partners could discuss their goals and challenges in a relaxed, informal environment with drinks and nibbles.

Commenting on the tour, Gavin Jones, channel director at BT Wholesale said: “Partner Connect was the ideal platform for our partners to gain valuable insights, connect with each other, and engage directly with industry experts on the topics that impact their businesses. We didn’t want this event to be death by PowerPoint. We wanted partners to have fun as well as genuinely learn something useful. We look forward to putting on more events like this in the future.”

Following positive feedback from partners and initial success of the Partner Plus Connect Tour, BT Wholesale is now offering face-to-face meetings for all partners wherever they are. These bespoke sessions feature digging further into industry data, training with specialists, strategy workshops and more. Partners can request a meeting by talking to their account managers.
