AMD has announced that Neil Spicer’s role has been expanded. Spicer already leads AMD’s global component channel sales division, and in his newly expanded role, he will also be taking responsibility for AMD’s OEM business, with his new title as corporate vice president, global OEM, channel client and graphics.
With this new role, Spicer will be instrumental in driving the strategic direction and growth for these key areas of AMD’s business. A 14-year AMD veteran, his proven track record and extensive experience in the industry position him perfectly for this role.

With the expansion of Spicer’s role, AMD has also promoted Omar Fakhri to corporate vice president, global component channel, reporting to Spicer directly, managing the Ryzen and Radeon graphics business.
