Modulr is partnering with Ripple, a blockchain and crypto solutions provider, to simplify payments into the UK and Europe. Trust Payments will the first customer to go live under the partnership.
The partnership will enable real-time payments to be made internationally, powered by Ripple’s financial technology, RippleNet. With Modulr’s technology, businesses can now make payments into the UK and Europe faster, more reliably, and cost-effectively.
As the first company to directly benefit from the partnership between Ripple and Modulr, Trust Payments can continue to expand its service and deliver new payment options.
Jonathan O’Connor, Chief Commercial Officer of Trust Payments, said: “The partnership between Modulr and Ripple delivers a new payment option for settlements. We want to ensure we offer merchants alternatives to traditional methods with reduced fees and increasing the speed of funding to their accounts.”
Ripple and Modulr will deliver real-time, price-competitive and reliable payments into the region, from the Asia Pacific, North America, Latin America and Middle East regions.
