Resellers empowered to strengthen digital reputation

From today, resellers of all sizes across the entire channel are being given access to a first-of-its-kind rapid deployment marketing services platform that will equip them with the ability to strengthen their online digital reputation.  In doing so, they’ll bolster their overall performance, drive greater sales and feed their pipeline of opportunities.

Atom has been launched by Consenna in recognition that whilst all businesses should have robust strategies in place for digital marketing, there remains a critical number of resellers in the UK for whom this is overlooked, either due to perceived lack of time, or a lack of sufficient knowledge. These resellers are, consequently, disadvantaged in realising their full sales potential.

Jamie McCoy, Digital Director at Consenna, comments: “There’s no denying that the vast majority of resellers are great sales people.  They know to invest the time in perfecting their pitch and building a rapport with the customer, but they’re neglecting to recognise how those customers now buy.

“We all do it, whether in our professional or personal lives.  We identify the product we want to buy, then we do the customary quick online research.  If there are two businesses selling the same product, one with a detailed online presence that provides reviews, feedback, knowledge, and insight, and the other without, it’s not rocket science to work out which we’ll buy from.

“Yet there are still too many resellers overlooking this vital aspect of their overall business strategy and given that today’s customers are actively checking these things out before making their purchasing decision, it’s remiss to not be focusing on them.  Atom addresses that and it’s available to all resellers without any vendor-related tie-ins.”

Built as a ‘marketing agency in a box’ solution, Atom provides resellers with a range of packages that cover everything from weekly blog content and email marketing, through to both organic and paid-for social media activity, local SEO and review management, and even the ability to have a website built and paid for on a monthly basis.

Importantly, resellers are able to identify and opt-in to the services and products that they require and so build their own bespoke digital marketing strategy.  It is a low-cost, but high value approach to digital marketing that will cost resellers less than an entry-level marketing executive, backed by Consenna’s industry-leading experience that will make a tangible difference to those businesses.

Jamie concludes: “With our deeply entrenched experience working across the channel, Consenna has become increasingly aware that too many resellers overlook the need to have a strategy when it comes to their online presence.

“Whilst some vendors offer concierge services that resellers can choose from when utilising Market Development Funds, these are, understandably, locked into the vendors products.  Atom is open to the entire channel so resellers can utilise it to both drive MDF lead gen activity and grow their own brand performance, and we believe it’s the kind of positive disruption that the channel needs.”
